Fig, almond and carob are part of the culture and gastronomy of the Algarve region. In the past, in the most inland areas of the region, the cultivation of nuts was the main economic activity of families. Some of the fruits were dried in the rooftops - terraces that replaced the roofs of the Algarve houses and were used to dry the fruits in the sun. In addition to the flavours, a typical Algarve house was recreated for cookies.

Ingredients: wheat flour, eggs, sugar, honey (15%), vegetable daisy and cinnamon.
